Cold Lake Teens Steal Truck, Gas And Dash and Get Into 2 Accidents

A pair of 17 year old boys from Fishing Lake and Cold Lake are facing a list of charges after stealing a truck from a tow yard in the city.

After the theft, police received more reports of the truck being involved in a hit and run and a gas and dash before it tried to pass another vehicle by the sails and spun out into a ditch. The two were sent to hospital with minor injuries before being taken into custody.

The boy from Fishing Lake is charged with Break and Enter and Theft Over $5000.00, Mischief Under $5000.00, Theft Under $5000.00, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Assaulting a Police Officer, Uttering Threats to a Police Officer, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident, and Driving While Unauthorized.  The boy from Cold Lake has been charged with Break and Enter and Commit Theft Over $5000.00, Mischief Under $5000.00, Theft Under $5000.00, and two counts of Failing to Comply With a Recognizance. He also had 5 outstanding warrants for his arrest for unrelated matters, which were all executed at the time of his arrest.
