Pride Picnic Happening in Cold Lake this Weekend

People of all sexual identities are invited to attend a Pride Picnic being held in Cold Lake this Saturday at 11.

After learning the usual Pride Committee wasn’t organizing anything this year, Corrie Grant took on the initiative herself. She felt it was important to do something, especially in the wake of Orlando.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

11am: Welcoming, LGBTQ+ Community Speaker & Honouring Orlando
11:15-12:15pm: 4 Wing Military Band
12pm – 2pm: BBQ Lunch! While food lasts. =)
12:45 – 1:15pm: Ashley Slade
2pm: Cupcake decorating! Icing, and sprinkles, in the colours of pride! For kids of ALL ages (Yes, this means adults too!)
2 – 4pm: DJ Stylings of BYS and Speakerhead!
3pm: Community Games! TUG-O-WAR!!!
Cold Lake RCMP vs MP (in process of confirming)
4pm: Closing statement, Prize Winners announced.
