RCMP Ask Residents to Call Fish & Wildlife If They Spot a Coyote.

Bonnyville RCMP wants residents to know what to do if they spot a coyote. The Bonnyville RCMP Detachment, in conjunction with Fish & Wildlife, would like to advise residents of the Town of Bonnyville to contact Fish & Wildlife Officers to report any coyote sightings in the town instead of contacting the Bonnyville RCMP.  Coyotes are entering town looking for food therefore residents, along with business and restaurant owners, are reminded to store their garbage responsibly. The MD of Bonnyville has there Coyote and Wolf Reduction Incentive Program in effect, for more information on how you can help keep the population of these animals down click HERE.

Contact Fish & Wildlife Officers during office hours at 780-826-3142 or after hours via the Report a Poacher line at 1-800-642-3800.
