The town of St. Paul has decided to set aside 30,000 dollars of next year’s budget towards building a new skate park in town.
A group in town has been lobbying local government and businesses for donations to replace the current park with a more sophisticated one that allows for more advanced tricks. So far, they’re at 50 grand, a fifth of the way to their goal of 250, which would allow them to apply for grant money.
