Soil Turning Ceremony Held for New Habitat For Humanity Project in Cold Lake

Habitat for Humanity held a sod turning ceremony today as it plans to start work on a new housing project.

Mayor Craig Copeland was present as well as representatives from the Lakeland Catholic School district among other community leaders.

Julie Chorney with LCSD says the site of the new project is very close to Holy Cross School.

Habitat is no stranger to the city. There are currently 22 homes already in the community.
