At a time when many Fort McMurray residents have been left with nothing, one evacuee was able to leave behind a token of his gratitude to Lac La Biche.
Dan Ferguson spent a significant chunk of his five-week stay in town at the legion, having lunch and participating in a few jam nights. Before he left, he donated a large amp and other sound equipment to the branch.
The new equipment will be put to very good use, in addition to jam nights every Saturday and live music st steak night every Friday, the legion also hosts parties and other events.
