A report of an assault on a rural property last Thursday turned out to be a lot more than just that for the St. Paul RCMP.
Once they got there, the police noticed that the owner had a small arsenal of weapons and ammunition. In fact, officers found over 40 guns on the property.
35-year-old Buckley George Dyck of McRea has been charged with numerous firearms offences, including possession of a prohibited device, careless storage of firearms as well as one charge of assault causing bodily harm. Dyck is currently in custody and is scheduled to make his first court appearance in St. Paul Provincial court on May 26th.
