Brosseau School Raises 800 Lbs of food for Freindship Centre

Ecole Dr. Bernard Brosseau  has managed to fill the Friendship Centre’s shelves at the food bank and then some. Students were able to raise 799.1 – but let’s just call it 800 pounds of food in just a week.

Madame Teiha’s Grade 5 immersion class was able to raise the most at 140 pounds, earning themselves a pizza party in the process.

Not only was a lot of food raised. It was a lot of the most needed food as well. The centre provided the school with a list of twelve items it had the highest demand for before the drive started.
