New Brunswick Donates Supplies for Evacuees to Bonnyville

While in council yesterday, Mayor Gene Sobolewski had to take a call and leave for a while. He returned with some fantastic news.

The province of New Brunswick is sending a 53 foot truck full of items Fort McMurray evacuees will need to the town of Bonnyville. It is expected to arrive by either tomorrow or Friday.

Sobolewski wanted to make sure the logistics were in place before getting too excited however. He forwarded the message along the people in charge of keeping donations organized to make sure there’s enough space and manpower available to take it all in.
