RCMP in Lac La Biche say they’ve been dealing with a higher than usual number of break-ins this past month.
13 Break-ins were reported in April. For comparison, 16 were reported for the three months before that combined. It’s unknown if any of the incidents are related at this time.
RCMP are reminding the public to keep all their belongings secured and to have someone watch over their property if they plan to leave for a trip. They also urge citizens to report any suspicious activity.
