9 Year Old Frog Lake FN Girl Found After Going Missing Overnight

The Frog Lake First Nations had a major scare last night when a 9-year-old girl went missing, but fortunately she eventually turned up all right.
The girl and her three dogs had apparently wandered off from their house around 6. Elk Point RCMP eventually came by to assist the community in the search. Just as police were ready to get the helicopters out for a more intense search, the girl and her dogs wandered out of the bush around 5 in the morning. Her clothes were soaking wet, but she said the dogs stayed with her all night and kept her warm.
The girl was taken to the hospital as a precaution but didn’t have any injuries.
