37 year old male died in a motor vehicle accident outside of Elk Point. Emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident, on Moose Hills Road, where a double axel water truck had entered the ditch. It is believed the lone occupant of the vehicle, a 37 year old male, had crossed the correction line when navigating corners, causing the vehicle to crash into the ditch. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and succumb to his injuries. It is believed the male was not wearing his seatbelt and factors such as alcohol are being considered as the investigation progresses. The name of the deceased is not being released at this time pending Next of Kin notification.
