Killam Woman’s Pill Pushing Claim Backfires

A Killam woman who accused a man of pushing drugs had it backfire on her and is now in jail.

Cold Lake RCMP received the woman’s complaint on the 18th. When they arrived they found no evidence that the man was selling pills to kids as she claimed. However, they did notice that the woman appeared to be intoxicated and had an outstanding warrant for her arrest back in Killam.

The 35-year-old woman was unable to come up with the $1750 bail and was remanded. She will appear in court in Killam on May 3rd.
