Another day, another scam going around the Lakeland. This time RBC is being impersonated.
Bonnyville RCMP received a complaint on the 19th that someone claiming to work for the bank had called a resident multiple times. The scammer asked the woman for her RBC security question and answer. The woman reported the call to RBC, who let her know that they don’t normally contact customers via phone unless it’s regarding an appointment with a specific advisor.
