Pay It Forward Canada Founder Encourages Local Businesses To Perform One Act of Kindness

Pay it Forward Canada Founder and Lakelander Darlene Doskoch is encouraging businesses to perform one random act of kindness this Pay it Forward Day on April 28th.

That’s only one small part of a bigger plan Pay it Forward International has worldwide. the group is hoping to record ten million acts of kindness around the globe. That may seem like a lofty goal, but Doskoch says with 78 member countries and five million acts documented last year, it’s more than doable.

Another major project of Darlene’s is getting Pay it Forward Day to be recognized as a national holiday. That’s still in the early stages, but she has been successful at getting the Yukon, BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba to recognize it on a provincial level.

Doskoch says she knows she’ll be doing some acts of kindness on Pay it Forward Day and that the Dove Centre will be out and about in the community as well.
