Scott Cyr Disappointed in NDP Budget

Scott Cyr is “incredibly disappointed” after hearing the NDP’s new budget today.

Cyr believes the budget has “no real plan to get Alberta back on track.” “What we’re looking for is stability and not another spending plan by our current government.”

Cyr is particularly unhappy with the carbon tax  “It’s going to be devastating to almost all families in our riding and across Alberta.”

As far as positives are concerned, Cyr says he likes the reduction of the small business tax from 3% to 2, but suspects the carbon tax will make that a bit of a wash.
