6 Cold Lake Residents Busted in Fish Trafficking Operation

Six Cold Lake residents are facing a combined 41 charges for illegal possession and trafficking of fish, after an undercover investigation.

The six are accused of unlawfully buying, selling and possessing walleye, lake trout, lake whitefish and other species.

Investigators seized a long list of items for evidence, including a pickup truck, an electric smoker, gill nets and other fishing gear, as well as 118 fish packages that will be kept in storage.

The six accused are:
