Cold Lake High School Students Receive Great Provincial Exam Marks

Principal Dustin Walker reports that Cold Lake High School students, both grade 9 and grade 12, have did well on their provincial exams with a twenty per cent increase in scores at the acceptable level over the past five years. Scores at the standard of excellence level went from 7.6 per cent of students achieving that level to 17.6 per cent. Principal Walker credits teachers at all levels, from elementary to high school in helping achieve these marks but noted the grade 9 level has a new focus where teachers are specific to their subjects and grade making students better prepared for the provincial exams.
