Assumption Honours Long Serving Teacher With His Own Day

The student council at Assumption Junior/Senior High school decided to pay tribute to its longest-serving teacher.

Tim Urlacher walked into school on Friday to find it had been declared Mr. Urlacher Day. All 422 students had their own mask of the teacher’s face and wore it everywhere he went. Some students took it even farther, imitating what fellow teacher James Morrison calls his signature “Khakis, Flannel shirt and bald” look.

The chemistry teacher took the day in stride, posing for photos with students.
