St. Paul Co-op Mall to Undergo Major Renos

The St. Paul & District Co-op has announced a massive, 16.9 million dollar renovation of its facilities.

The mall was built in 1979 and has seen little in the way of change since then. A lot of the infrastructure underpinning the building is starting to age and need replacement. With this in mind, the co-op has decided to go big and give the mall a whole new look, including giving more space to the  Food Store and Home & Ag Centre. The Co-op will be expanding into some new territory as well, opening up a liquor store in Elk Point.

Construction is planned to begin in late spring. The co-op has released a few 3D video previews of what the finished project will look like. You can see them below.
