Northern Lights School Division launches the Youth Achievement Program in Cold Lake. NLSD recently unveiled a new program offered through the Cold Lake High School that is intended to provide students with opportunities to learn about careers and explore their options once they are done with high school. The Youth Achievement Program or YAP received a bountiful $65 thousand donation to help kick-start its first year from Imperial Oil. Though it is the first time this program is offered in Cold Lake the school division has seen a lot of success with it at its Lac La Biche Middle School over the past ten years.
