Cross-Country ski trails around Muriel Lake have been forced to close down early this season as the equipment used to maintain them was stolen.
The equipment was left out in the open whenever not in use. This practice had been going on for four years without incident, as the equipment has basically no use or value outside of its purpose. However, someone decided to take them and yesterday crews arrived to find them missing.
