Bonnyville Teens Put on Self-Inflicted Garbage Duty

Three Bonnyville teenagers found themselves on garbage duty after deciding to go on a garbage tipping spree.

Bonnyville RCMP received a call on the 25th of a Chevy truck speeding down a residential street. A passenger was hanging out of the passenger window knocking over every garbage can as they went by. Police pulled the truck over and the three kids admitted to their wrongdoing. The constable explained that they could be charged for Mischief Under $5000.00, but if they cleaned up their mess they’d be let go with a warning. All three helped clean up the knocked over garbage cans and apologized. Parents were notified.
