Saskatchewan First Nation Winter Games Coming to Onion Lake

The Saskatchewan First Nation Winter Games are coming to nearby Onion Lake.

The games start March 27th with Opening Ceremonies. Executive Assistant at Saskatchewan First Nation Winter Games, Tamara Belly, says the organization still needs upwards of 200 volunteers in pretty much every area.

Athletes ranging in age from 9 to 18, from 13 different tribal councils, will compete in 7 sports: hockey, volleyball, basketball, badminton, broomball, curling, and table tennis.
