Two local bands are helping raise money for the Notre Dame High School band with a St. Patrick’s Day rock show this Friday.
Shamrocked – as it has been dubbed – will be held at the Seniors’ Drop in Centre with the doors opening at 8 and the show starting at 9. Expect all the usual St. Patrick’s Day bells and whistles including green beer. Of course, that also means this will be an 18+ event. A midnight lunch and dance will follow the show.
The Notre Dame band is in need of some congas and a gong. Right now a few of the pieces they play require them and they’re unable to play the songs properly without them. The funds raised from the event will hopefully be able to pay for both.
