$23,000 worth of Weapons and Drugs Seized From Rural Bonnyville Residence.

A man and a woman from Ardmore in their 40s and a 25 year old Lloydminister man have been charged in a major drug bust after Bonnyville RCMP searched a rural property east of town.

Police spent 8 hours at the residence finding marijuana, Hash oil, mraijuana wax, Hash resin, Coacaine, magic mushrooms, prescription pain meds and nearly 100 tablets that police aren’t even sure what they are.  In addition to all that, the RCMP also seized several firearms, ammunition, crossbow, brass knuckles, knives, pepper spray and batons. In total the drugs and weapons are figured to be worth more than $23,000.

The two Ardmore residents were awarded cash bail and have been released on conditions. They are both charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking X 3, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Weapons Offences X 8, Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000 and Child Endangerment. The Ardmore male is additionally charged with Breach Weapons Prohibition X3. Their first appearance date is March 22nd. The Lloydminster male appears in April.

A 14 year old boy was also present at the scene. He has been taken into Child and Family Services.
