Cold Lake Library Looking For Dimes for New Shelf

The Cold Lake Municipal Library is looking for your dimes.

The library is hoping to buy a new $500 shelf for the children’s section and are seeking donations. The library does have a tree shaped shelf at the moment, but the problem is whenever kids try to grab a book from it, they usually end up causing a bunch of other ones to fall off. A much more functional piece is needed.

To achieve this, the library thinks that rather than asking everyone for a large donation, a few dimes here and there should add up over time. The Library has Two litre bottle behind the desk and every dime they receive will go straight into it. When the bottle is full it should roughly add up to five hundred bucks.

Director Leslie Price wants to particularly encourage local businesses to help out by collecting dimes around the office and sending them in.
