Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority Open House

Two local organizations have teamed up. The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority is opening it’s doors to Lakelanders from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm tomorrow for an open house geared towards fire prevention. Fire Chief at the Bonnyville Fire Department, Darryl Cheyenne, says the day has more to offer then just free food and dessert.

The day is also in conjunction with the Bonnyville Friendship Centre as Lakelanders are encouraged to bring food donations to the fire station, which will be dropped off at the Centre to help re-stock its shelves. The Centre is currently experiencing extreme shortages in supplies because of increasingly high usage rates. Country 99 is also accepting donations that will be brought directly to the Centre to help Lakelanders.
