New Cold Lake and District FCSS Facility

It’s ribbon cutting season in the Lakeland. After months of construction and over $300,000 in donations, the new $4.5 million Cold Lake and District FCSS facility is ready to open this afternoon (Friday, Oct.3).

The ribbon cutting ceremony is set to take place at 1:00 p.m and celebrations, which include a BBQ, live music, crafts and activities and guided public tours, will run until 7:00 p.m.

The new 13,000 square foot facility will have dedicated space for FCSS Social Programming, Parent Link Centre Programming, and office space that can be used for outside service providers visiting the community.

This year also marks the 10th Anniversary of the Lakeland Parent Link Network.
