Mild weather conditions forced the city of Cold Lake to close the outdoor rink on the north end of town last week, and now the south rink has gone with it at as well. Â The city reports that the ice surface is melting and pools of standing water can be seen on the rink.
The rink will be re-opened again if and when the temperature drops again.
