Two Cold Lake Men Arrested for Drug Posession, Poor Firearm Care

Two Cold Lake men are in custody after RCMP found a stash of drugs and a loaded shotgun in a car they were driving.

Officers pulled the vehicle over around 3:30 in the morning on Tuesday and upon investigation, found cocaine and methamphetamine inside. The loaded shotgun also had its safety off.

22-year-old Anthony Schmidt and 24-year-old Andrew Heigh are both facing multiple charges relating to drug possession and careless transportation of a firearm. Both will appear in court on March 9th at 10 AM.
