The donations have been tallied up and the Hospital Gala at the C2 this past Saturday managed raise over $150,000.
This year’s theme was “To the moon and back”, which saw the C2 decked out in space aged decorations. The proceeds from the gala will mainly go towards purchases aimed at women’s health, including at $30,000Â Colposcope, which detects abnormal cells with the hope of preventing cervical cancer.
Other items on the purchase list include birthing beds, infant care centres, lights and a small ultrasound unit.
