Homes can enter into two categories, Spookiest or Kid-Friendly Haunt for a change to win $500 in local business giftcards.

“Bonnyville really comes alive with haunted houses during Halloween,” said Events Committee Chair Byron Johnson. “This contest is a fun way for the town to join in the spooky season with our residents.”

Registration is open until October 28 and judges will visit displays in costumes on October 29 between 4 and 8 p.m. Winners will be announce on Halloween day.

Spookiest entries will be judged on how they use traditional Halloween items like pumpkins ghosts and witched in order to make their home eerie.  The Kid-Friendly Haunt will be judged on how fun and whimsical they make their homes.

An online form can be found on the town’s website or you can pick a form up at the Town Hall.
