As if more books than anyone could read in five lifetimes wasn’t enough, kids at the Cold Lake public library can now have blast at the new literacy station.
The station holds two iPads that are stocked full of educational games kids can play while mom and Dad are reading a magazine or checking out a book to get for themselves. It replaces a computer that had long outworn its use thanks to a successful fundraising campaign.
Director Leslie Price says the station has been a massive success. Hardly a moment goes by without it being used.
