A 26-year-old Saddle Lake man is facing multiple charges after being arrested by RCMP on June 21.
While patrolling at the Saddle Lake Pow Wow St. Paul RCMP, along with the Eastern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit found and arrested Lazare Christopher Favel, who was wanted on warrants out of Edmonton.
“In searching the male, incidental to the arrest, police found suspected methamphetamine, paraphernalia, Canadian currency, and identification cards presumed to be stolen. A stolen truck was also recovered nearby,” reads the RCMP release.
Along with the warrants Favel was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: methamphetamine (crystal meth). Possession of property obtained by crime less than or equal $5000, and six counts of illegal possession or trafficking in government documents.
Favel was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on June 26.
