Unauthorized ATM withdrawal found in farmer’s field near Bonnyville

Bonnyville RCMP are investigating a theft of an ATM machine that was ripped from a local convenience store on the evening of May 28.

Around 7 p.m. unknown suspects entered the Red Rooster store, tied a strap from a stolen black Ford F-350 around the ATM machine, and pulled it from the building before fleeing the scene.

The ATM was later discovered abandoned in a farmer’s field miles south of Bonnyville.

RCMP are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Bonnyville RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
