St. Dominic Principal Michelle Kaminski Receives Excellence in Catholic Education Award

St. Dominic Elementary School Principal Michelle Kaminski has received an Excellence in Catholic Education award from the Council of Catholic School Superintendents of Alberta.

Every year the District nominates one teacher who goes above and beyond in their duties. This year Kaminski received the honour.

Michelle joined Lakeland Catholic School District in 1996 to teach Grade 6 at St. Dominic Elementary School in Cold Lake, Alberta. In 2008 she became the District AISI (Alberta Initiative for School Improvement) Coordinator and led the district for 4 years on the Assessment for Learning District Initiative. In 2012, Michelle was appointed to her current post as principal of St. Dominic Elementary.
