June 30 Mallaig Crash Triggers Arrest Warrant for Calgary Woman

St. Paul, Alberta (September 24, 2014)— An arrest warrant has been issued for 27-year-old, Fallon Jessica OUELLETTE of Calgary, in relation to a fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred on June 30, 2014 East of the Mallaig turnoff on Highway 28 in Mallaig, Alberta. OUELLETTE has been charged with nine counts, including impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death (x2); impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm; impaired operation of a motor vehicle over .80 causing death (x2); impaired operation of a motor vehicle over .80 causing bodily harm; dangerous driving causing death (x2) and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

This arrest warrant was issued following a fatal collision investigation which occurred on June 30, 2014, where a 49-year-old man and his 52-year-old common-law wife died when the minivan they were driving became fully engulfed in flames as a result of the collision. The man’s 12-year-old daughter was pulled from the minivan by quick acting bystanders.
