Get ready for four days of action packed entertainment as the Bonnyville Ag Society is getting ready to host a pro rodeo and chuckwagon races, happening from June 5 to 8 at the Bonnyville rodeo grounds.
Daily admission is free for kids 8 and under, $20 for youth ages 9-17 and seniors 65 and up, and $25 for adults 18 and up. Entry for both dances os $20 at the door.
The event starts on Thursday, grounds open at 4 p.m. with wagon races at 6 p.m. followed by a rodeo and continues through Sunday, with bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping, steer riding, and more.
On Friday, the Bonnyville Chamber’s chili cook-off kicks off downtown at 12 p.m. on 50th Ave and 50th St. Grounds open at 4 p.m., followed by races at 6, rodeo action, and a 9 p.m. dance with live music from Southern Cross.
Saturday starts with a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m., grounds open at 12 p.m. with a rodeo at 1 p.m. with wagon races following at 6 p.m., with a dance and live music from Dirt Road Maniacs at 9 p.m.
Sunday will wrap up the weekend with gates opening at noon with the final round of wagon races at 2 p.m., featuring the $23,5000 Dash-4-Cash.
There will also be beer gardens, food trucks, vendors, concession stands, and a 50/50 raffle throughout the weekend.
