Staff at the Bonnyville Native Friendship Centre got a rude surprise when they came into work on Monday. Somebody had pried the doors open to a shed at the back of the building.
Executive Assistant Ashley Gaulton estimates the damage was about a hundred dollars and says it remains unclear if anything was actually stolen from the shed. However, it was storing some very important financial documents, exposing the centre to a risk of fraud.
No witnesses have come forward and the case remains very much up in the air.
