A Saddle Lake man is facing several charges after RCMP executed a search warrant at a home last week, following a month-long drug trafficking investigation.
Saddle Lake RCMP received information on drug trafficking the Saddle Lake are on April 11. After a months-long investigation, officers executed a search warrant at a residence, seizing drugs, paraphernalia, and ammunition on May 8.
28-year-old Saddle Lake resident Brandon Carlos Favel, was arrested on outstanding warrants and has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine (crystal meth), and possession for the purpose of trafficking opioid (other than heroin). He was also charged with three counts of weapons possession contrary to order and fail to surrender authorization, and two counts of failure to comply with release order conditions.
Favel was held for a judicial hearing and has been remanded into custody.
