MLA Cyr Drops in on MD Council Meeting

MLA Scott Cyr stopped by the MD of Bonnyville’s council meeting today to discuss a few issues.

During the meeting, Cyr mentioned he had received a message from Infrastructure and Transportation Minister Brian Mason asking MLAs to come up with a list of priorities the municipalities in their ridings had. Cyr says he only had a week’s notice to submit a list and was able to get input from all the communities in his area, but it was a frantic effort. Bridges were a recurring theme, with over ten different projects brought up by various governments.

Cyr says he hopes to visit the MD Council to touch base at least once a quarter from now on.
