A woman from Ardrossan has died from injuries she sustained in a serious crash that occurred in the Bonnyville area on March 24.
Bonnyville RCMP responded on the morning of March 24 to a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a large sedan on Range Road 460 between Township Roads 610 and 604.
“Initial findings revealed that the sedan failed to stop, hitting the pickup. Alcohol was later discovered to be a factor,” according to information released by RCMP on April 7.
“Both drivers were brought to the hospital with varying levels of injuries, with the driver of the pickup truck recovering from his injuries.” However, on April 4, Bonnyville RCMP were notified that the driver of the sedan had died.
RCMP say no charges will be laid in connection to the incident. “The thoughts of the Alberta RCMP are with all those impacted by this incident.”
