Don’t forget that Odie’s Challenge is tomorrow.
The Bonnyville RCMP will be icing a team against a bunch of high school kids in the hockey game to end all hockey games. Donations will be accepted for the local food bank as well as to keep Odie the service dog doing his job.
Odie is Alberta’s first service dog with victim services. He assists children who have been victims of serious crimes by being present for police questioning and going on the stand during trials with them for support, something no human is allowed to do.
In addition to Odie, food items are being raised for the friendship centre and the RCMP is hoping to fill an entire truck with donations. Make sure to bring a non-perishable item with you.
