On February 2nd, 2016 at 4:00 AM, the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment received a 911 call for service from a homeowner reporting that someone was trying to break into his garage. Bonnyville RCMP Detachment Members attended the residence in the town of Bonnyville and observed the homeowner caught one of the suspects. Police arrested the suspect, a 35 year old male resident of Bonnyville, and search incidental to arrested revealed possession of Methamphetamine. The identity of the other involved person is unknown as they had fled the scene. The male was later released on court compelling documents to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on March 22nd, 2016 for charges of Break and Enter and Possession of Methamphetamine.
