The Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Center has announced plans to open an office in Bonnyville to help women and children escape abusive households.
Resource Development Co-ordinater Serina Parsons says a location hasn’t been picked yet, but an outreach worker has been hired for the post.
It’s not yet known when the new office will open, though the beginning of March is the goal.
