Cold Lake RCMP have charged a 19-year-old man with second-degree murder in connection to the death of a 29-year-old man in December 2024.
On December 20, 2024, RCMP responded to a call about a deceased man at a residence in Cold Lake. “The deceased was identified as 29-year-old Tyler White, who died as a result of a gunshot wound,” RCMP stated.
The Edmonton Major Crimes Unit led the investigation, supported by the Cold Lake General Investigation Section and the St. Paul Forensic Identification Section. Following the investigation, Damien Delome, 19, was charged with second-degree murder.
“Delome was arrested from the Edmonton Remand Centre, where he was in custody on unrelated matters,” according to RCMP. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Cold Lake on February 12.
