The town of Bonnyville is hosting an open house for its Downtown and Main Street Streetscape and Urban Landscape Strategy, inviting residents to review current ideas and provide feedback.
“The strategy will recommend future streetscape design options, including guidelines for façade improvements, building design, and site planning, and establish and implementation plan to achieve the vision,” stated the town of Bonnyville. “The strategy will guide future growth initiatives to ensure a uniform look and feel for the community along 50 Avenue.”
The open house will take place on January 30 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre.
Earlier, the town conducted an Urban Design Project Survey to gather community input on a vision for the downtown area. Downtown Bonnyville and main street are recognized as important hubs for business and tourism, serving both the town and surrounding areas.
Residents are encouraged to attend and share their ideas to help shape Bonnyville’s downtown.
