On Friday, December 13, the Bonnyville RCMP, in partnership with the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority and the M.D. of Bonnyville Public Safety, held their annual “Pack the Police Car” event at the Sobeys parking lot.
The community came together in full force to support local food banks during this charitable initiative.
Staff Sergeant Sarah Parke expressed gratitude for the community’s overwhelming support. “Thanks to the generosity of our community members we were able to collect 2425 pounds of non perishable food, toiletry items and over a thousand dollars in grocery gift cards to donate to our local food banks.”
The items collected will provide much-needed support to local food banks, helping families in need during the holiday season. The Bonnyville RCMP extends their thanks to all participants for making the event a resounding success.
