A Cold Lake man has been charged with multiple charges after an impaired driving report and a collision in Saddle Lake on December 2.
Around 11 a.m., St. Paul RCMP received a report of a possible impaired driver. Shortly after, the RCMP were alerted to a collision in Saddle Lake. Upon arrival police arrested one male.
Cameron James Houle, 45, of Cold Lake is facing multiple charges.
These charges include, operating a motor vehicle without holding a valid operator’s license, failing to remain at or return immediately to the scene of an accident, performing or engaging in a stunt or activity likely to distract, startle, or interfere with highway users. Failure or refusal to comply with demand, careless driving, uttering threats against a person, assault on a police officer, theft of a sport utility vehicle and unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon.
Houle was held for a judicial hearing and remanded into custody. He is set to appear in the St. Paul Court of Justice on December 12.
